We believe the Bible is God’s word, the only sure foundation for life. The Bible teaches that we all have fallen short of God’s standard for life (Romans 3:23). As a result, we rest under God’s righteous judgment (Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:4). However, Jesus Christ offered Himself as a sacrifice, paying the penalty of our sin. The Bible teaches that “whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16). By faith we trust that His sacrifice alone was a sufficient payment for our sin. Instead of being condemned, we are saved by His incredible grace (Ephesians 2:8-9).
